Sketch book studies

Getting to know my character.

I've actually known her since the day she was born. But it's always amazing what we don't see until we have to capture someone's personality. My sketches started out cold this morning; stiff and forced. As the day progresses I am able to relax my pencil grip and it starts to come together.
